HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RAW HAIR
Your bundles are an investment. A consistent care routine will help protect their softness, shine, and longevity.
Washing and Conditioning
- Gently detangle the hair from the ends upward before washing.
- Wash the hair in a downward motion using lukewarm water. Avoid rubbing or bunching the hair together.
- Use a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioner as needed.
We recommend Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner. - Rinse thoroughly to prevent product buildup.
- Allow the hair to air-dry whenever possible.
Styling and Maintenance
- Always apply heat protectant before using hot tools.
- Keep heat at a moderate temperature and avoid repeated passes over the same section.
- Use a lightweight silk serum, such as BioSilk, for added smoothness and shine.
- Avoid excessive oils, heavy products, and alcohol-based styling products that may cause dryness or buildup.
- Brush gently from the ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or extension-friendly brush.
- Avoid excessive pulling, rough brushing, or unnecessary tension on the wefts.
Nighttime Care
- Never go to sleep with wet or damp hair.
- Wrap, braid, or place the hair into a loose ponytail before bed.
- Protect your install with a satin or silk scarf, bonnet, or pillowcase to reduce friction and tangling.
Between Installs
- Have the bundles gently removed to prevent cutting or damaging the wefts.
- Clean and deep-condition the hair before storing it.
- Make sure the bundles are completely dry.
- Store them neatly in a satin bag or protective container in a cool, dry place.

Shipping & Processing
Every order is carefully prepared and inspected before shipment. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing.
Processing time begins after your payment has been successfully completed and does not include weekends, holidays, or carrier transit time. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information using the contact details provided at checkout.
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase. Essencess is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, severe weather, holidays, or an incorrect address entered at checkout.
Returns
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
For hygiene and quality purposes, returned bundles must be:
- Unused and unworn
- Unopened from their protective packaging
- Still bundled and secured in their original condition
- Unraveled
- Unwashed
- Uncut
- Uncolored
- Free from products, odors, and alterations
Hair that has been opened, unraveled, tried on, installed, washed, cut, colored, or otherwise altered is considered final sale and cannot be returned.
We provide free return shipping for eligible returns. All returned items will be inspected before approval. Items that do not meet the return requirements will not qualify for a refund.
Exchanges
Need a different eligible length or product? Contact us within 14 days of delivery to request an exchange.
The hair must meet all return conditions listed above, and exchanges are subject to product availability. If the replacement item has a different price, the remaining balance must be paid before the new item is shipped.
Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, contact us as soon as possible after delivery. Please include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging so we can review the issue and assist you.

Yes, raw hair can be professionally colored and lightened. However, all chemical services can affect the condition of the hair. We strongly recommend having your bundles colored by an experienced professional and completing a strand test before processing the full bundle.
Can the hair be straightened and curled?
Yes. Both our Raw Vietnamese and Raw Cambodian bundles can be straightened, curled, and restyled. Always apply a heat protectant and avoid using excessively high temperatures to preserve the hair’s softness and longevity.
Can I use heavy oils and products on the hair?
We recommend avoiding heavy oils, thick creams, and excessive product use because they can create buildup and weigh the hair down. A small amount of lightweight serum is usually enough to restore shine and smoothness.
