I created ESSENCESS during my own journey of building confidence and learning to fully embrace myself as a Black woman. For me, hair was never just about beauty—it was about how I felt, how I showed up, and how confident I allowed myself to be. As I grew into my confidence, I wanted to create something that could help other women feel that same sense of empowerment.
